Sinait, Ilocos Sur is proud to have their own version of Ferris wheel made of bamboo. Their version has only four seats made of wood and held by plastic ropes assembled to be like a swing. And it is manually operated.

According to Bandila report on Friday, people have to go up the mountain on Marnay in Ilocos Sur in order to see the bamboo Ferris wheel.
At first, it is so scary to ride when you hear the sound created by the bamboo, but when it already accelerates it is becoming more exciting

It was made and owned by Mang Johnny. He made his own version of this favorite carnival ride because they could not afford to ride the regular Ferris wheel during town fiestas.
In 1960s, he already made one together with his fellow youth, but was already broken. This year, he made a new one for his grandchildren.

Now, it is already visited by other people especially the youth. Aside from the extraordinary experience of riding this bamboo Ferris wheel, it is also free.
Indeed, it’s more fun in the Philippines!
